Group training is great for regular practice and the opportunity to work around the distraction of other dogs. However, you may prefer some one to one help so you can focus on your dogs training programme in more detail or because a class environment may not be suitable for them.
Packages rather than one off sessions are offered, ensuring an effective programme of training is delivered to help you get the most out of your commitment.
Suitable for the early days with your puppy before they are ready for the more practical training sessions or if you’d just like some advice about puppy related issues once your dog has settled in. This zoom appointment will offer advice to help with the initial stages of settling your puppy into their new home and if you are a first time puppy owner you’ll find it useful to boost your own confidence in getting your puppy off to a good start.
You can also book this appointment for before your puppy arrives home. This will help you prepare in advance to help them settle in as smoothly as possible.

For a variety of reasons you may be looking for one to one training to help get the basics in place with your puppy. This package will give you 3 x 1 hour sessions, covering a range of training exercises at home and in the park to help your puppy get off to a great start. In addition, during the course you will obtain a good understanding of dog behaviour, how to communicate with them and learn how to get the most out of your timing and rewards. An example of how sessions may be structured is listed below.
Puppies should have been out socialising for a couple of weeks before beginning any outdoor sessions.
You will also receive a training support brochure and phone/email support for the duration.

An intensive programme to give a great kick start to your training – If you are committed to making lasting changes for the welfare and well-being of your dog (and you!) then this complete review of their behaviour and lifestyle is the way to achieve results. This plan is designed to look at the bigger picture because deep down, we all know that you just can’t do things by halves if you want to achieve success! Your initial appointment lasts up to two hours so an assessment , plan and practice can take place. You’ll learn how to see things from your dogs point of view so you can communicate effectively and get the most out of your training plan.
This bespoke programme combines positive techniques tailored to you and your dog. It’ll tell you What, Why, How, When and Where to put your training and behaviour modification techniques into place.

An assessment of your dogs Behaviour, looking at any anxiety driven issues they are experiencing, why they are occurring and the best way forward to resolve them.
We will consider the best techniques and enrichment activities you can use to work out a way forward to help your dog to overcome their anxiety. Feelings of anxiety can take longer than other behaviours to overcome so patience and a commitment to put into practice the changes and techniques covered are essential moving forward.
This consultation will help you understand issues your dog may be experiencing and help you move forward with appropriate advice and any practical exercises.
You may decide that you would like a couple of extra sessions when your training plan has finished, to help you gain more confidence or because your dog could benefit from a little extra support. Where available, you can book these sessions to follow on as a continuation of your existing Personal Training Plan or review following your Behaviour Consultation.

Private training packages can be paid with cash at your first appointment or by bank transfer 24 hours in advance. Puppy Zoom appointments to be paid upon booking.
Please give 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel an appointment otherwise it will be charged in full. Private Training packages to be completed within an 8 week period. In the unlikely event we cancel an appointment you will not be charged. Re-scheduled appointments due to weather will not incur a fee.
In most weather conditions, outdoor appointments will go ahead. If it is very wet, or in very hot/inclement weather, we will reschedule. You will not be charged a cancellation fee in this instance.
